FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR
SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Food and Beverage Supervisor at The Hershey Centre in Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the daily activities required to provide excellent customer service at the facility by performing the following essential duties personally or through subordinate workers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-To function in a front line supervisory capacity, scheduling, supervising and coordinating activities of part time food and beverage workers.
-Investigate, analyze and resolve customer service issues.
-Ability to work varied schedule including evenings, nights and weekends.
-Operate computerized sales systems.
-End of night sales and cash reconciliations.
-Some food preparation and handling will be required.
-Ensure security of patrons through enforcement of building policies and procedures.
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements
-Secondary school graduate.
-Minimum of 2 years related supervisory food service experience.
-Demonstrated familiarity with computers.
-Previous cash handling and reconciliation experience.
-Ability to develop good rapport with management, tenants, fellow employees and the general public.
-Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize and to handle multiple projects simultaneously, working under tight deadlines.
-Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
-Ability to work with limited supervision and as a cooperating member of a 3 person team
-Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours, on a rotating schedule.
-Permanent position, 40 to 44 hr week, hourly, 2 weeks vacation, health & dental benefits.
