In 2010, after an absence of over 32 years, the IX Lithuanian Song Festival returns to Toronto for a special weekend of song and celebration for your enjoyment. Warm and friendly Toronto hospitality awaits your visit.

I Am the Song!
Our songs, brought from Lithuania as great treasures by our forefathers and parents, preserved with undying love, and instilled with affectionate care into our hearts, will again resound in 2010 in the IX Song Festival in Toronto, Canada.
I wholeheartedly extend my invitation to all of you who love singing: to all choir directors, singers young and old, and to all of you whom we hope to see in the audience, to start preparing for the IX Song Festival.
Come to Toronto and share in the great joy of one of Lithuania's cherished traditions, announce to the world that we are still part of that "singing revolution," and show our ancestral land, Lithuania, that we love and honour it.
Most importantly, bring the children and young people to the Festival and show them that it is our songs which make us who we are, which make us one.
Looking forward to singing with you in Toronto!
